Hei Hauhake Whakaaro is a resource of Kaupapa Māori literature.
We have developed it for our postgraduate students and Tōmaiora researchers, but we
hope that Māori researchers across Aotearoa and indigenous researchers internationally will
find it useful.
Te Kupenga Hauora Māori (the Department of Māori Health) has developed it for our postgraduate students and Tōmaiora researchers, but we hope that Māori researchers throughout the University and across Aotearoa, as well as indigenous researchers internationally, will find it useful.
This website has been designed as a supplementary resource. It is not a complete catalogue of Kaupapa Māori literature. As our postgraduate students are the primary audience for this resource, we have prioritised literature that we believe will be especially helpful for their learning. Our long-term aim is to include a wide variety of relevant literature.
We strongly encourage all users to engage critically with any resources you locate. Please note that the article summaries have been written by members of the Tōmaiora Māori Health Research Group, and not by the articles’ authors.
